Overboard! is a small, active group of folks who love working and playing with our Portuguese Water Dogs. We are a nationally recognized regional club established in 2007 under the nurturing eye of our national club, the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America (PWDCA). Our members are primarily from the Midwest including the states of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois.

 Our goal is to promote the health and well being of our PWDs through a variety of activities and to provide a support network for the PWD owner. Portuguese Water Dogs are a working breed and they need a job! Keeping up with a PWD requires energy and ingenuity for a happy healthy relationship. A bored PWD is a mischievous dog who is bound and determined to get into trouble. 
 
Our members have their PWDs doing a huge range of activities from Agility to Pet Therapy and everything in between. Our members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience with new members. Please check out our website for our annual events. We offer a wide range of activities from seminars on how to groom your PWD to water training. We also have social events that are just people oriented lest you think we have gone completely to the dogs. Hopefully membership in Overboard! is fun for you and your PWD.
